Denia is situated on the north of the Marina Alta and on the outskirts of the mountain Montgo, 105km south of Valencia. It is one of the most idealic areas of the Costa Blanca.

It is a town which can offer something for everyone spectacular sandy beaches and rocky coves, five 18-hole golf courses, wonderful views, a castle, bars, restaurants, excellent shopping facilities and more fiestas per year than any other Spanish town.

Las Marinas situated just north of the town has sandy beaches stretching to over 15km offering an ideal place for relaxing and swimming.

For water sports lovers there is a first class Yachting Club and fishing, windsurfing, diving or sailing can be practised almost all year round. The beaches and coves of Las Rotas and the Cape of San Antonio, just south of the town, are a haven for scuba divers and snorkellers.

Denia has about 29,000 habitants and possesses one of the most important harbours of the area, with ferry connections to Ibiza, Mallorca and other islands. This, and the huge fishing fleet has made Denia a very prosperous city over the past years. .
