The city of Alicante has excellent access routes to all of the Valencian Community utilising the A-7 motorway route and located 178km south of the capital, Valencia. It possesses a busy international airport where flights are available to the world’s main cities and also a port that offers a regular service to Barcelona, the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, France and North Africa. Alicante is known as the capital of the Costa Blanca and is located directly on the Mediterranean with a population of around 280,000.

Not only are there numerous shops and shopping centres, but also miles of sandy beaches and beautiful palm trees. Alicante is host to some fantastic fiestas of which the most important is the ‘Hogueras de San Juan’ which is certainly not to be missed.
